Bruder 03051: John Deere 7930 Tractor with Front Loader, 1:16 Scale

Available since 2007, that means this Bruder John Deere 7930 with front loader was released 5 years after the original - without the bells and whistles. And despite the gap, this models front loader can be attached to the standalone, original model. Bruder here though have made the front loader compatible and functional even when its fully equipped.

John Deere 7930 Tractor

Big, wide, bulk body of this Bruder John Deere 7930 tractor (with front loader) is what makes this a John Deere, a huge driver's cab with big clear windows where we can view the interior.

We can access the cab via the opening doors with little handles, and well were inside we can insert a figure on the seat.

The exterior detail extends to a realistic exhaust pipe running up the side of the cab, sticking out wing mirrors (with delicate window wiper detail), imitation lights, mud guards and steps that lead to the cab.

Functional Front Loader

Now we can't have a Bruder John Deere 7930 tractor with front loader if it didn't function like the real thing now can we; and well this one does, it has a little extra too.

The front links help raise the loader up and down, and well there're no links connected higher up where they should be, instead we get a handle where they control the bucket/grabber attachment.

Anytime they don't need the front loader, it can easily and swiftly be removed from its connection slots behind the front two wheels, then secured back in place when required.

Bucket/Grabber Attachment

The choice of front loader attachment is a bucket/grabber, so well the bucket with teeth scoops the load, the grabber helps not only - well grab it - but keeps it in the bucket.

You can simultaneously work the bucket well using the front loader to collect the load well dumping it in the trailer or on the ground.

To control the pivoting bucket/grabber attachment is done by hand; simply pull the grey handle forward to dump the load, well a pull-back action would result in the bucket tipping back. Additionally, the grabber is moved by hand but can also be taken off if not required.

Towing John Deere trailers

We're not short of a matching John Deere implement or trailer in the Bruder 1:16 series, so why not consider a matching tractor/trailer set in green with yellow rim wheels.

We have the front loader with the hitch unused until we introduce a trailer, though your options are not limited to John Deere ones, with bale transport and tipping trailers all a good fit.

And where the tow bar of the trailer is low, we can lower the rear tow hitch using the height adjustable function. Likewise, for the larger trailers, we can raise the hitch to the height of the tow bar.
